Biography
In 1992, Henrietta graduated from Middlesex University with a BA in Graphic Design, having concentrated mostly on photography. On returning from Zimbabwe in 1993, Henrietta started her photographic career as a freelance assistant to both commercial stills photographers and wildlife filmmakers.
Henrietta’s longest term project took her to Malaysia for a year, where she worked as camera assistant, sound recordist and stills photographer on the award winning, six half hour, wildlife documentary film series, 'Hutan – Mysteries of the Malaysian Rainforest'.
After this, Henrietta remained in Malaysia to undertake a commission for the book 'The National Parks and other Wild Places of Malaysia', the first title in its series, published in November 1998 by New Holland (Publishers) Ltd
in conjunction with WWF Malaysia.
Since, Henrietta has continued working as a freelance photographer undertaking commissions both here and abroad, concentrating on flora, gardens, in/exteriors, landscapes, natural history and travel. Henrietta was one of the organisers of the Garden Photographers’ Exhiibition 2004 - 'New Views' and its book 'New Views - International garden and plant photography'.
